An Old Idea with a Twist

The Staked Ash Side Table is an old idea with a new twist. The form of this side table looks as if someone took the top in their hands and gave it a spin. Meant to have a sense of motion, it's not quite at rest from any side. Originally built as a side table for the Walnut Occasional Chairs, its strong form stands alone and  livens up any sitting area. It is finished with a wiping varnish.
